Narcissistic Acts: Our fate, our behaviour!

Life is very interesting. It allows us to be ourselves and work to be very efficient in all our ways of living. When Allah created the universe, He created humans to be the only creatures to have the ability to choose what they want to do and how they want to do it. Of course, everyone have his/her own fate, but also we have the grace of choosing, whatever a person chooses will turn to be what is already written in one’s own fate.
Over history, nations had the choice to select to follow good or bad; their selection is always related to their pure nature, what they have inside their hearts. Scientists and religious men always confirm that unjust ruler comes to unjust nation! It is the nations actions that lead them to destruction and wars. How many times a young girl has been accused of being immodest. How many times a man has been forced to leave his family just to obey his “unjust” version of his family members. And how many groups have been forced to cover an unauthorized mass killing of innocent people or even a whole tribe! This happens when no one has the courage to act rightly. The choices we make are the ones defining our path in life, whether individually or populations!
Our behaviour towards ourselves defines our present and our future as human beings. And our behaviour towards other people around us defines our future as a nation. Not being able to accept each other, negatively judge others without proof, and acting destructively and spreading negative attitudes will do nothing but much of harm to our surrounding and will lead to raising generations of poor self-esteem carried and moved by rage and destructiveness. Later will come rulers of the same destructive attitudes and will treat the entire population as they are not part of the country, leading to discrimination and conflicts, leading to war and mass displacement in the future.
As nations we should unite and choose what is best for us. Reconciliation, peace, and prosperity should be our model in life. Forgiveness and production should be our everyday activity. And togetherness should be included in every song.
Don’t forget to pray to Allah to grant wisdom and positive thinking upon our leaders to end this crisis.
