NVU Vice-Chancellor inspects the development of work at Al-Salam Hospital

Al-Salam University Hospital in Um Alteyour is witnessing a considerable boom in health and medical services provided to the citizens of Um Alteyour and the western bank in general.
According to the general manager of the hospital, Dr. Waleed Elhaj, the hospital shoulders great burden in providing its services to the residents of the area and the injuries of the highway, Meroe Atbara, which connects the state of River Nile State with the Northern state.
He added, in his report that due to the support of the Nile Valley University, the community of the area, the hospital’s administration and other parties it was possible to make the required maintenance in maternity and operation besides bringing modern devices which contributed a lot to providing the service, in addition to establishing distinguished partnerships with the Federal and State Ministry of Health, Health Insurance and the state government.
He added in his report to NVU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Al-Sa’im who was in a tour to the hospital accompanied by some officials, that the first week of September will witness the launching of the rehabiliated sections, promising that other specilozed sections will be launched.
For his part, Mr. Abdel Rahim Abdel Wahab, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, said that the hospital is witnessing a high frequency of service applicants, which demonstrates the keenness and cooperation of the hospital staff to provide excellent service, and confirms the university administration’s interest in the hospital’s social and health role.
For his part, Prof. Al-Saim, stressed the university’s commitment to overcoming all the problems and obstacles facing the hospital and the university’s mission, indicating the importance of sustaining the service provided to the citizens.
He expressed appreciation to the parties that provided support to the hospital especially Um Alteyour Development Committee for its growing role in seeking to solve the problems of the hospital and the stability of its employees.
