Ambassador Khalid said in a press statement that the Head of the Sovereign Council held a number of meetings with the heads of some countries during the celebration of the inauguration of the President of Rwanda.

He discussed with Egyptian Foreign Minister the obstacles facing the Sudanese in Egypt, and it was also understood to coordinate regional and international efforts to support the Sudan issue and the success of peace initiatives. He also briefed him on Sudan’s efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to conflict-affected areas, stressing Sudan’s cooperation with all humanitarian organizations working in the humanitarian field to deliver food to the needy. Humanitarian.
He also briefed the Rwandan president on the Sudanese government’s handling of all initiatives that preserve Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing that Sudan will not participate in any initiative that lacks the basic elements stipulated in the Jeddah Declaration signed on May 11, 2023, which is the exit of the Rapid Support Militia from civilian objects and citizens’ homes, as well as the non-participation of any country participating in the aggression against Sudan in mediation efforts.
He stressed that Sudan is open to all initiatives that serve the cause of the Sudanese people and achieve their aspirations for peace and stability.
