Cabinet approves the National Strategy for Child Protection and Care

The Council of Ministers approved, in its session of yesterday, headed by Osman Hussein, Acting Prime Minister, the National Strategy for Child Care, Protection and Development in Sudan.

The Secretary-General of the National Council for Child Care, Dr. Abdul Qader Abdullah Abu, said that the Council approved all recommendations that help children and achieve their goals with partners at the level of national policy and sustainable development within the Child Protection Strategy.

The Secretary-General of the National Council for Child Care considered the approval of the Child Strategy in Sudan an indication of the executive body’s interest in children, indicating that there are 24 million children in need of care
