Ambassador Emad Adawi meets senior Egyptian media professionals

The Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt, Lieutenant General (Engineer), Emad El-Din Mustafa Adawi, met today with a number of senior Egyptian media professionals, headed by Dr. Osama El-Saeed, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Akhbar newspaper, Ahmed Imbaby, Managing Editor of Rose El-Youssef, and a group of Cairo News Channel, in addition to El-Hindi Ezz El-Din and Dr. Bakhita Amin.
Ambassador Emad Adawi thanked the Egyptian media for its great role in supporting the unity and stability of the Sudanese state, especially during the ongoing war in the country.
In an interview with Cairo News Channel, Ambassador Adawi thanked the Egyptian leadership and the Egyptian people for their warm reception of the Sudanese people during this ordeal, and stressed the strength and eternity of relations between the two brotherly countries.
The ambassador referred to the (Thank You Egypt) Festival project organized by a high popular committee under his patronage, to express the loyalty and gratitude of the Sudanese people for the warm reception and hospitality they have witnessed in their second country.
Regarding the issue of Sudanese schools in Egypt, the ambassador stressed the need to adhere to the directives and requirements of the host country regarding the regularization of the status of schools, but the ambassador said that the Sudanese are waiting for a favor from His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the schools file, taking into account the exceptional situation of Egypt’s guests from Sudan.
It is worth noting that an Egyptian media delegation will visit Port Sudan during the upcoming period.
