No more public discrimination!

The Sudanese population has been going through series of multiple changes both politically and socially. The composition of the Sudanese community has been in continuous state of social swings over time. These changes in all societal atmospheres include the movement of families seeking for better living conditions, more vital health care systems, and better education. It also include the movement of whole tribes from one place to another following better weather conditions without the need for help from any outsiders including the government!
The Sudanese community is comprised of different components of completely various backgrounds, different beliefs, different customs and traditions, and even though after years of continuous movement all end up to live within the same community. All of this led to the one thing that we have failed to accomplish as Sudanese; accepting each other’s differences. This is one of the main reasons that led to this chaos we are now living.
Linguistics confirms the presence of more than 70 different languages in Sudan, of wihch more than 500 accent is descending. The reason for this great variation is the presence of more than 400 tribes in the country, of completely different beliefs, different customs and traditions, and different ways and styles of living.
All of these differences have produced more educated members over time, and each is trying to prove its authentic existence throughout history and its legitimacy in ownership of government and power over the previous decades. The spark of this war was not when the Rapid Support Forces officially entered Khartoum in 2018, nor when they were combined with the Sudanese Armed Forces afterwards, no, the spark of this war started when every community was trying to prove its originality to the other. It started when we failed to eliminate the rising status of public racism we have towards each other, when we failed to accept our differences as Sudanese living inside one land and havig only one flag that represents us. The spark of this war started when we continually distinguished one tribe over the other, and for what?!
We all live the same sorrow now. We all suffer the same now. Isn’t it about time that we reconsider our thoughts about each other and try to accept who we are?!
May God grant wisdom upon our leaders to end this war.
