Jaber meets Head of the Swiss International Relief Organization

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief, 1st. Lieutenant General, Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, was briefed on the great efforts made by the Swiss International Relief Organization in supporting and assisting the Sudanese people through providing humanitarian aid, and the results of the organization’s recent visit to the states of the River Nile and Red Sea and the services that were provided to those affected by war and poor families.
During his meeting in his office today with the organization’s delegation, headed by Mrs. Patricia Danzi, the Swiss envoy to the Horn of Africa, His Excellency expressed Sudan’s thanks and appreciation to the Swiss government for supporting and assisting the Sudanese people and its keenness to provide all humanitarian aid.
The Sovereignty Council member emphasized the depth of relations and ties between Sudan and Switzerland and Sudan’s keenness to enhance aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries in the interest of the peoples of the two countries.
The meeting discussed the humanitarian and health conditions in the country and the efforts made to overcome all obstacles and challenges facing the delivery of aid to those affected by the war.
