A thorough reading about the impact of Sudan crisis on the situation in South Sudan
It was said from what is infiltrated from Abiy’s Ahmed to Sudan that:
Juba government, with the Sudanese situation and the presence of Rapid Support Forces in areas through which the pipeline of South Sudan is passing have a negative impact on the passage of oil pipelines for export – and therefore Juba finally retreated from sympathy with the Rapid Support Militia.
Juba went to Addis Ababa to urge its leadership to reduce this sympathy as well, and that Addis Ababa responds to Juba through contributing to finding a way out of the matter.
Therefore, a deal was made related to the Nile water (Juba’s signature on the Entebbe Agreement).
After the return of Abiy Ahmed from Port Sudan, an Ethiopian security delegation, accompanied by Abdul Rahim Daglo, went to Juba to discuss the repercussions of the presence of the Rapid Support Militia in the concerned regions and its impact on oil exports.
By the way, the security delegation was accompanied, by the request of Abdul Rahim, as he was not reassured about the Juba government, fearing that he would be arrested there and detain him as a pressure card to get the Rapid Support Forces out of the oil export transit areas.
Abiy Ahmed leaked that Abu Dhabi will pressure the Rapid Support Militia to withdraw its forces from the capital, Khartoum, with guarantees (safe passages guarding forces from Ethiopia, South Africa or Nigeria).
The top serious consequences of the war in Sudan is that It shocked the throne of Salva Kiir’s government and the threat of the collapse of the south – as a result of the economic situation.
It was said that the government in Juba did not pay the salaries for nearly nine months for the employees of some institutions.
The change that affected some ministers is a preemptive blow after the growth of the resentment and crticizing the head of state for fear of the collapse of South Sudan, as the main affected by it are Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya -in particular Addis Ababa and Kampala – and there is a saying that the acceleration of the cessation of the war in Sudan in favor of the Sudanese Armed Forces is necessary.
Therefore, the dialogue of the Sudanese forces is the approach – and the formation of the five-year presidential committee headed by Museventi is the basis for saving South Sudan by stopping the war in Sudan due to its impact on Juba.
The Ethiopian security delegation that visited Juba was worried about the health status of Salva Kiir, especially in terms of focusing on the sequence of conversation, along with his physical activity as he is very slow iin walking and even speechless.
