Museveni receives Deputy Head of the TSC, Malik Agar

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni received in the capital, Kampala, today the Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council(TSC), Commander Malik Aqar Ayre as a special envoy to Head of the TSC, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan to the Ugandan President.
The acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, explained in a press said that the Deputy Head of the TSC conveyed to the Ugandan President a message from Head of the TSC related to developments in the situation in Sudan and the recent Security Council resolution related to the city of El-Fasher, in which he clearly called on the rebel Rapid Support Forces to lift the siege on the city of El-Fasher. .
He added that the Deputy Head of the TSC briefed the Ugandan President on Sudan’s position on what is happening on the international and regional arena and the platforms presented, most notably the Jeddah platform, and that the countries supporting the rebellion must stop their support to achieve peace in Sudan until stability is achieved in the region.
It is to be noted that Agar arrived this morning in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil.
