Intelligence seizes large quantities of weapons and ammunition

Military Intelligence and Special Action Forces seized large quantities of smuggled weapons, ammunition and communications devices west of the city of Dongola.

Northern State Governor, Abdeen Awadallah, accompanied by the State Security Committee, inspected the police station, praising the vigilance of the regular forces in protecting the national economy and the state from all forms of evasion. The Governor saluted the popular resistance and its contributions in supporting and aiding the armed forces. He stressed the need to raise the sense of security to confront all security threats and preserve security and stability of the state.
