Foreign Ministry: IGAD Violated International Organizations’ Principles

The Sudanese Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning IGAD’s Secretariat invitation to the leader of Janjaweed militia to attend the extraordinary summit No. 42, considering the step as violation to IGAD founding agreement and all the norms of international organization’s activities.
The statement enumerated the atrocities of the RSF militia which were condemned by regional, international and human rights organizations.
It is known that IGAD meetings are participated by heads of member ststes, so such invitation will have it’s negative impact on the credibility of the organization.
Sudan’s options will remain towards IGAD within its insistence to violate its principles and the international law to become a tool for conspiracy against Sudan and its people.
