NUP Leading Figure Welcomes International Envoys Visit, Rejects Normalization of Israel

The Head of Policies and Peace Committee in the National Umma Party (NUP), Imam Al-Hilu has affirmed his party’s welcome to the visit of the international envoys besides the Russian Foreign Minister to Khartoum, considering that they might push forward the efforts of coming out of political crisis which will lead to reinstating Sudan’s natural position in the international community.
Al-Hilu added, in an exclusive interview conducted with him by the Citizen which will be published in the upcoming days, that the NUP rejects the ongoing steps of normalization between Khartoum and Tel Aviv as this should be approved by an elected parliament, affirming that the NUP stance is against normalization with Tel Aviv .
Commenting on the Framework Agreement, Al-Hilu said that the NUP believes it will lead to a radical solution that will accomplish the transitional period towards a democratic rule.
