VP of the TSC Meets Head of Turkish intelligence

Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, 1st Lieutenant General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo, received in his office today the Head of Turkish Intelligence, Hakan Fidan, in the presence of the Director of General Intelligence, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
The Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council welcomed the visit of the Turkish intelligence chief, stressing the strong historical relations between Sudan and Turkey, and the importance of boosting and developing them in all fields, in a way that serves the common interests of the peoples of the two countries.
He said that relations with Turkey are strategic and eternal, and that Sudan accords special attention to them. He called for cooperation and coordination on bilateral and international issues and files of common interest.
For his part, the Turkish intelligence chief affirmed his country’s interest in developing its relations with Sudan in all fields, announcing Turkey’s support for the framework agreement and efforts that achieve stability in all of Sudan, declaring his country’s readiness to help Sudan, in order to achieve stability in the country.
