TSC Member Idris arrives in Juba on official visit

The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Chairman of Revolutionary Front Dr. Al-Hadi Idris Yahya arrived today in Juba, capital of the Republic of South Sudan, on two- day official visit accompanied by the Revolutionary Front, spokesperson Osama Saeed.

The TSC member was received at Juba Airport by South Sudan Presidential Advisor Tut Gatluak and members of Sudanese diplomatic mission in Juba.

Saeed said in a press statement at Juba Airport that the member of the Sovereignty Council, Chairman of the Revolutionary Front, and his accompanying delegation will meet with the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, and Tut Gatluak, to discuss the peace process in light of the political developments taking place in the country and the framework agreement that was signed last December, as well as the role of the Republic of South Sudan in the success of the political process, especially with regard to the files of eastern Sudan and the implementation of Juba agreement on peace in Sudan.

The Spokesperson pointed out that Dr. Al-Hadi Idris will conduct today a number of activities within the framework of enlightenment about the progress of the political process and the efforts exerted to boost stability in Sudan.
