NCMHP Organizes Workshop on Policies of Pathways of Medical Professions

The National Council for Medical and Health Professions (NCMHP) , Saturday organized a workshop on the policies of medical and health professions, in the presence of the acting Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed İbrahim, the acting Minister of Federal Government Mohamed Kortakela Saleh, and the Chairman of the National Council for Medical and Health Professions, Dr. Marwa Hussein with the participation of heads and representatives of specialized councils for medical and health professions.

The workshop discussed the specialized professional tacks for the medical professions as one of the most important professions that guarantees a level of qualification and application to practice the profession with a high quality, good training and qualification for practitioners of the medical professions and providing a methodological evidence that governs career progress.

The workshop stressed the need to enhance the medical professions’ policies in a way that meets the current requirements in light of the progress of medical and health fields as well as the introduction of modern and advanced technology in the field of information.

The workshop affirmed the importance of close coordination with the Ministries of Higher Education and Health to enhance the training process for medical and health professionals.
