The Sudanese Company for Free Zones and Duty Free Shops is one of the largest companies operating in the Sudan. Its shares are traded on the Khartoum Stock Exchange. The company is at the head of the economic entities affecting the Sudanese economy due to the diversity of its activities.
The opening of the Khartoum International Fair coincides with the Golden Jubilee of the company and the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of its establishment.
The Sudanese Free Zones & Markets Company Ltd. has completed preparations for organizing 40th session of Khartoum International Fair in its 40th session, which will be held from 24th to the 31st of current January.
The Director of Marketing at the Department of Exhibitions, Conferences, Hotel and Tourism, Hassan Abbas, revealed the preparations that are being made now by all the sub-committees of the Supreme Committee for the 40th session of the Khartoum International Fair, which starts from the twenty-fourth of January until the thirty-first.
Hassan stated that there are wide local and foreign participation in this session, pointing to its specificity and distinction, as it coincides with the golden jubilee of free markets.
At the level of international participation, he said that there is a wide participation of countries and companies from all over the world, including Algeria, with more than sixty companies, in addition to the participation of the Algerian Minister of Trade as a guest of honor.
Hassan also referred to the participations of Egypt, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Germany, Italy, Turkey, and Saudi and Emirati companies, referring to participations on the way, including Russia, India, the Netherlands, Zambia, Malaysia, the European Union, Tanzania and Zambia.
Regarding the national participations, Hassan Abbas explained that the participation is wide from government institutions, banks and major Sudanese companies in various fields at the level of products and services.
Regarding the accompanying programmes, he said that the program includes seminars, meetings of businessmen, concerts and a state theater that reflects the creativity of each state, referring to programs related to the family and children.
The Sudanese Company for Free Zones and Duty Frees was established in 1993 and became a public shareholding company in 2002. Free trade and business activities are the main activities of the company.
It possesses the accumulated expertise of the Free Markets Corporation, which was established in 1973. The company has a series of galleries and Free Markets in both Khartoum and Red Sea states, which are characterized by the quality of goods and services provided to customers and customers.
