In preparation for the Sudanese-Qatari Health Forum- Health Minister Meets the Ambassador of Qatar to Sudan

The Federal Ministry of Health confirmed that the State of Qatar is one of the largest countries supporting Sudan, especially in the health field, whether from the government officially or through organizations, led by Qatar Charity, the Red Crescent, and the Qatar Fund for Development, which contributed to the implementation of many projects.
The Minister-designate, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, said during his meeting in his office today, His Excellency the Qatari Ambassador in Khartoum, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sada, that the meeting comes within the framework of continuing joint cooperation between the two countries, describing the partnership between them, especially in the health fields, as strong, pointing to the support of the Qatar Fund for Development in the field of emergencies through global health, Qatar Charity and the Red Crescent, noting that it has stopped now demanding its resumption.
Haitham pointed to the agreement with the Qatari Ministry of Health during the recent visit to Doha to sign an agreement when the Sudanese and Qatari Forum in the coming period, noting that it is within the framework of preparations for him to write his draft in preparation for sending it to Qatar through the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Qatari ambassador in Khartoum, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sada, promised to continue cooperation with Sudan, represented by the Federal Ministry of Health, calling for solving obstacles to the launch of joint projects, while pledging to address the Qatar Fund for Development to continue the stalled project.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the National Council for Medical Specialties, Dr. Ahmed Farah Shadol, said that the State of (Qatar Fund for Development) expressed its readiness to support two projects of the Council, represented in the electronic library, the electronic examination center and the second skills center, pointing out that the Council has 60 specialties and graduates annually (2) thousand, while currently 12 thousand deputy specialists are engaged in training.
The Director of the General Department of International Health at the Ministry, Dr. Sarah Elias, pointed out the need for joint coordination and renewal in the agreements concluded with the introduction of the necessary additions.
