FMoH opens quarantine project at Khartoum Airport

The Federal Ministry of Health inaugurated the quarantine project at Khartoum Airport under the guidance of the Acting Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim in cooperation with the World Health Organization and technical supervision from the Development and Projects Department at the Ministry, in the presence of the Director of the Ministerial Executive Office, Dr. Essam El-Din Hassan Ali, and the Director of Quarantine at Khartoum Airport, Dr. Muhtadi Mahmoud.
The Director of Quarantine, Dr. Muhtadi Mahmoud, explained that the project is one of the projects that contribute to the rapid response process in the event of any emergency, pointing out that it consists of several projects, the first project is the administrative office and consists of five offices (the office of the Director General – the Secretariat – the Administrative Director – Environmental Health and Food Control), the second project is the International Vaccination Center and consists of two offices
Indicating that the office is working 24 hours a day, pointing out that the third clinic in the arrival hall aims for early detection and effective response, which has an electrocardiogram, a suction device, a steam device, a heartbeat and shock device, as well as two ambulances, and other medical devices and tools
