Al-Savanna Reveals the Secrets of the RSF Militia

The militia defector, Ali Rizqallah (Al-Savanna), held a press conference in the capital, Khartoum, where his statements revealed startling details and secrets for the first time about the health of the militia leader (Hemedti), the liquidation of prominent leaders, and the extent of foreign interference shaping the situation.

Al-Savanna said that Hemedti was injured in a previous attack in front of the General Command of the Armed Forces in Khartoum. He indicated that Hemedti has become devoid of any real power, saying: “The militia’s decisions are now entirely in the hands of external parties, and if Hemedti himself tries to disobey these orders or deviate from the prescribed path, he will be killed immediately.”

The defected commander revealed systematic assassinations targeting high-ranking and influential leaders within the militia to advance specific agendas. He confirmed the elimination of prominent figures such as Jalha, Abdullah Hussein, and Hamid Ali Abu Bakr.

Al-Savanna detailed the assassination of Commander Jalha, stating that he was killed by a drone strike in the Kafouri area on the direct orders of Abdul Rahim Dagalo. He also revealed that commanders Othman Amalat and Othman Fadil are currently under house arrest in the United Arab Emirates.

Regarding the militia’s foreign relations, he named former Vice President Hasabo Mohamed Abdel Rahman as the militia’s primary advisor and de facto coordinator with the UAE.

He added that Emirati support for the militia has shifted to an alternative strategy after the failure of the initial plan.

Now, after failing to completely control the Sudanese state, external support is focused on separating the Darfur and Kordofan regions. He indicated that several countries have become involved in supporting the militia, aligning their interests with those of the UAE.

Al-Savanna recounted the details of his dramatic escape from the militia, explaining that he left through the Fourth Division in Al-Daein under an official movement order approved by the militia. He then traveled to South Sudan, from where he flew to India, before finally returning to his homeland in Khartoum.

He denied the militia’s media accounts of his forces, describing them as a farce. He stated, “All my forces are currently in areas controlled by the armed forces.”

The press conference shed light on the dark humanitarian and human rights situation within the militia. Al-Savanna revealed the existence of the notorious Daqris detention center, where thousands of civilians and military personnel are being held in catastrophic and dangerous conditions. He confirmed that widespread extrajudicial killings of civilians and soldiers have been carried out within this prison.

Regarding the internal situation of the militia, Al-Savanna described it as deteriorating and collapsing, pointing to the stifling bureaucracy and extreme centralization resulting from a lack of trust. He sarcastically remarked, “If you want a handful of flour, you’ll have to have Abdel Rahim Dagalo himself approve it.”

Al-Savanna announced his next field operation, saying: “I will personally go to the field in Kordofan, and I will fight the militia until we reach the Um Dafuq area.”
