SAF Seize Control of Kazqil and Hamadi in South Kordofan in Strategic Field Advance

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have achieved a new field breakthrough on the battlefronts in South Kordofan State. Media and field sources revealed that the army has taken full control of the Kazqil and Hamadi areas following fierce battles against the Rapid Support Forces militia.

This advance comes within the framework of the large-scale military operations led by the army to secure the Kordofan axes and cut off the militia’s supply lines in the areas linking the north and south of the state. Sources reported that the capture of Al-Hamadi and Kazqil gives the army a strategic advantage in securing the road linking the cities of El-Obied and Al-Dilling, a significant shift in the balance of power in the southern provinces.

The area witnessed fierce clashes involving various types of weapons, resulting in the retreat of militia elements and inflicting losses in equipment and personnel. Army units are continuing extensive clearing operations to secure the surrounding villages and ensure the return of stability to the residents of those areas.
