Governor of West Darfur congratulates the citizens on Eid al-Fitr

The Governor of West Darfur State, General Bahr al-Din Adam Karama, affirmed the commitment of the state government to work to end the suffering of citizens, especially displaced persons and refugees, and to create the appropriate conditions for their safe return to their areas.

In a congratulatory speech on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the governor said that Eid comes in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions that the state is experiencing, pointing to the effects of displacement, the loss of shelter, and the repercussions of the war.

He expressed his condolences for the martyrs, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded and the safe return of the missing, stressing that this ordeal is about to disappear and that the situation will improve, God willing.

Karama stressed that the state government is continuing its efforts to reconstruct and secure a dignified return for citizens, calling for community cohesion and strengthening the spirit of patience and hope.

He also saluted the armed forces, the joint forces and the popular resistance, praising their sacrifices in protecting and defending the homeland, stressing that the country’s stability is achieved with the solidarity of all.
