SAF Announce Liberation of New Area

The Sudanese Armed Forces announced that they have taken control of the Jart West station area in Blue Nile State, following military operations conducted by their forces in the region.

They explained that the operation was carried out by forces from the 16th Brigade of the 4th Infantry Division, supported by other forces, and that they were able to repel elements belonging to what is known as the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM-N), and destroy a number of vehicles and military equipment.

The operations resulted in the neutralization of dozens of elements during the clashes, as part of ongoing operations to secure areas in the Blue Nile region, according to a statement issued from the city of Damazin.
