Kabbashi: The Army is Committed to Protecting the Country’s Territory

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Shams al-Din al-Kabbashi, stated that the army is committed to protecting the country’s territory and called for support for state institutions during the current phase. His remarks came during a meeting held in Port Sudan.

The military official explained that he met with a delegation from El Fasher, in the presence of several field commanders. The meeting focused on discussing the security situation in the region.

According to information published on a page affiliated with the Joint Force, the meeting reviewed reports on violations attributed to armed groups. The meeting also addressed the sacrifices of the regular forces and local communities in the affected areas.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief affirmed that the state will follow up on the situation of the families of the dead and missing.
