(2000) Families in Khartoum State benefited from the SUDO Direct Cash Support Project

The Director General of the Ministry of Social Development in Khartoum State, the Acting Minister, Siddiq Hassan Frieni, during his meeting with the Director of the Sudan Organization for Social Development (SUDO), Mohamed Yahya, praised the efforts of the organization in supporting the Ministry’s programs, especially in the fields of psychological and social support, as well as child care and protection.
The Director of the Organization in Khartoum State, Mohamed Yahya Sabeel, briefed Freini on a detailed report regarding the activities, programs, and projects implemented by the organization during the year 2025 in Khartoum State, as well as the most prominent features of its plan for the year 2026. He reiterated his ministry’s commitment and full readiness to cooperate with the organization in the implementation of programs and projects that benefit the community.
The director of the Sudo said that the organization has implemented several projects in Khartoum State, the most significant of which is the direct cash support project for vulnerable and war-affected families, which has benefited 2,000 families. In addition, there is the project for psychosocial support and the development of children’s skills.
