Army Leads Airstrikes Against RSF Positions Amidst Ongoing Fighting in Darfur

Field sources confirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces launched an airstrike using drones targeting gatherings belonging to the so-called Janjaweed militia in the vicinity of El Fasher city in the Darfur region, as part of ongoing military operations against the Rapid Support Forces, which control the area.

These airstrikes demonstrate an increase in the Armed Forces’ use of drones to strike enemy positions far from traditional front lines, a move considered among the modern tactical methods to reduce casualties and achieve a rapid impact on Rapid Support Forces and Janjaweed militia gatherings.
