Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Human Development and Labor Pledges Continued Leadership Training in Khartoum State
The Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Human Development and Labor in Khartoum State pledged to continue and implement training programs and courses aimed at administrative leaders and state employees, emphasizing the importance of capacity building during the emergency and national recovery phase.
This came during the closing ceremony of the Effective Administrative Leadership in Emergency Situations course, organized by the Higher Council for Human Development and Labor in Khartoum State, in coordination with the Higher Council for Local Governance, and in cooperation with the African Center for Governance, Peace and Transition Studies, at the Omdurman Local Government Hall.
The Secretary-General explained the Council’s readiness to continue training second- and third-tier leaders and all state employees, contributing to reconstruction, development, and national recovery efforts. He affirmed the Council’s readiness to resume training activities in Khartoum State through its affiliated training units. He noted that upcoming programs will focus on specialized courses in labor relations, vocational training for youth, humanitarian emergency response training, and understanding the organizational environment and programs supporting administrative development, praising the positive impact the course had on the trainees.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Zain Al-Abidine Mahmoud, Director General of the African Center for Governance, Peace, and Transition Studies, affirmed the Center’s active participation in ensuring the success of the training course and its successful execution. He commended the role of the Supreme Council for Human Development and Labor and its coordination with local government and the Omdurman locality in organizing this important course during the emergency period. He also emphasized the importance of reforming civil service institutions and praised the participants and organizers.
The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Amin Abul-Banat, Minister of Industry and Trade for Khartoum State; Dr. Fadl Mohamed Fadl, President of the Sudanese Trainers Association; and Dr. Mohamed Issa Manawi, Director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company.
Dr. Fadl Mohamed Fadl praised the trainers, the training content, and the level of interaction and harmony among the trainees. He also expressed his appreciation for the contributions of Professor Sir Al-Khatim Tutu and Dr. Hafez Al-Omari, and announced the Association’s readiness to provide support to the Supreme Council for Human Development and Labor in the areas of training and vocational skills.
At the conclusion of the event, certificates were distributed to the trainees. The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Human Development and Labor expressed his gratitude to all the experts, participants, supporters, and coordinators who contributed to the success of the course, emphasizing the Council’s commitment to expanding the horizons of joint cooperation in the field of training and capacity building in Khartoum State.
