Joint Force Announces Recapture of New Area in North Darfur

The Joint Force of armed struggle movements allied with the Sudanese Armed Forces announced the complete recapture of the Jarjira area and its surroundings in North Darfur State, following a successful military operation against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

In an official statement, the Joint Force said its forces carried out a well-executed operation that resulted in the complete liberation of the Jarjira area, in addition to securing several neighboring areas, as part of ongoing military operations to reassert control in the region.

Heavy Losses Among RSF Ranks

The statement explained that the operation resulted in the capture of 20 fully equipped combat vehicles, in addition to the complete destruction of 15 other vehicles, in what the force described as a significant blow to the RSF’s combat capabilities in the region.

Capture of Militia Members

The Joint Force confirmed the capture of a number of RSF members during the operation, without disclosing their exact number, noting that the operation was carried out successfully with limited losses among the participating forces.

Operations Continue

The joint force emphasized that the Rapid Support Forces will find no safe haven anywhere in the country, affirming its determination to continue military operations and pursue what it described as militia hideouts until they are completely eliminated, according to the statement.
