Sennar Prepares to Host Therapeutic Medicine Forum with Broad Federal Participation

A delegation from the Federal Ministry of Health visited Sennar State to coordinate on the Sudan Therapeutic Medicine Directors Forum, scheduled to be held on December 27 and 28, 2025. During the meeting with the Alternate Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Development in the state, Dr. Alaa El-Din Hassan Khalifa, the head of the federal delegation, Dr. Emad Abdel Moneim Al-Khair, Director of the Hospitals Department, explained that the purpose of the visit is to arrange everything necessary to ensure the success of the forum, which seeks to develop health services in the states.

He revealed a plan to honor three hospitals at the level of Sudan during the events. The subcommittees also presented their perceptions related to housing, hospitality, venue preparation, and media, while the delegation will visit the proposed sites to follow up on the arrangements in a practical way, thanking the government of Sennar State for its sponsorship of the forum.

For his part, the Alternate Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Development in the state confirmed Sennar’s readiness to host the forum, pointing to the support of the state government and its participation in the success of the events.
