The Director General of Khartoum Health Meets the Delegation of the Italian Emergency Organization

The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State, Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin, met with the delegation of the Italian Emergency Organization, which manages the Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery, in the presence of the Director of the Organizations Department, Dr. Fatima Abdel Rahim. The delegation was headed by the organization’s Country Director, Matteo D’Alonzo, along with the Regional Director of Kurdistan, Roberto, and the Director of Public Relations, Ali Nasser.
The visit aims to follow up on the progress of health projects implemented by the Italian Emergency, discuss ways to enhance cooperation with health authorities, address the challenges facing health work in Khartoum, and develop mechanisms for joint coordination to ensure the continuity of medical and humanitarian services without interruption.
During the meeting, the delegation affirmed its deep commitment to supporting the national health system and its keenness to enhance cooperation with the Ministry of Health to serve patients. They pointed to the opening of the Italian Emergency Center in the Mayo region and the continuous coordination between the Ministry and the Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery to receive referred patients.
Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman welcomed the delegation, stressing the Ministry’s readiness to provide all forms of support and facilities that ensure the success of the joint health programs. He emphasized that “our doors are open to you, and we are ready to provide any assistance from us.”
