Khartoum Governor Inspects the Circular Medicine Fund

The Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, paid a field visit to the Circular Medicine Fund, accompanied by the Secretary of the Government, Hadi Abdel Jalil. They were received by the Director General of the Ministry of Health in the state, the Acting Minister, Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin, the Director of the Fund, Dr. Hafez Ahmed Mohamed, and a number of directors of departments.
The governor noted the abundance of medicines and the administrative arrangements within the fund, expressing his condolences for the martyrs of the battle of dignity, and stressing the state government’s interest in improving performance and ensuring the provision of medicine to citizens. The governor directed the fund’s management to provide a clear vision to address the challenges of medicine, including:
– Performance measurement.
– Preparing a coverage map for pharmacies.
– Preparing the next year’s budget for presentation to the Board of Directors.
Inventory the Fund’s assets such as mechanisms and buildings to fill the shortage of mechanisms.
For his part, Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman welcomed the visit, stressing the state government’s support for the health sector and praising the efforts of the Fund’s staff, especially after providing them with new competencies that contributed to the development of drug transfers.
