The Minister of Justice renews Sudan’s commitment to the approach of cooperation, consolidating the values of justice and unifying legal visions

The Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Darf, Chairman of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice for the forty-first session, stated that the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice is a significant legal forum for developing means of legal and judicial cooperation. He appreciated the role of Waleed Al-Samaani, the Saudi Minister of Justice and Chairman of the previous session, praising the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its leadership during the previous session and the Executive Office, as well as the contributions it made to the Council with its rich experience and extensive legacy in the judicial and legislative fields.
This statement was made during his chairmanship of the 41st session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and the Arab Ministers of Justice
Dr. Dorf praised the work of the Executive Office and the Technical Secretariat for their efforts to prepare for this session and the role of the Secretary-General and the General Secretariat to promote joint Arab action and consolidate the rule of law by supporting justice institutions in Arab countries, which strengthened the unity of the Arab position at the legal and judicial levels
He added that Sudan is honored to chair the 41st session, and renews its commitment to the approach of cooperation, consolidating the values of justice and unifying legal visions in order to achieve integration and cooperation in the path of joint Arab action, stressing that this session is gaining importance in terms of timing, events and topics of discussion, as the challenges vary between external interventions, Arab security issues, and economic and social challenges. And the stability and cohesion of the Arab countries
Dr. Darf touched on the unprecedented aggression that the Sudanese people are subjected to in its modern history, where the terrorist Rapid Support Militia, its mercenaries and supporters have committed brutal massacres against unarmed civilians, including genocide, ethnic killings, looting of public and private property, forced displacement of citizens, and destruction of infrastructure.
He praised the active role of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar for their efforts to reach a just peace that preserves the rights of the Palestinian people.
He considered that the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice is an important and influential platform in all legal and judicial fields in order to achieve accompaniment, stressing the importance of activating all its mechanisms to achieve joint Arab integration
