Ibn Sina University Organizes a Huge Celebration of the Return of of Its New Students in Khartoum

Ibn Sina University in Khartoum State organized today a grand celebration on the occasion of the resumption of classes at its headquarters after a two-year hiatus, due to the rebellion of the rebel Rapid Support Militia and the systematic devastation it left on higher education and scientific research institutions in the country.
The ceremony, which was attended by a number of deans of colleges, heads of departments, students and their parents, came in celebration of the return of academic activity and the reception of new students for the beginning of the academic year for the students of the deferred batch of Sudanese certificate holders 2023-2024, in line with the policies of the State and the Ministry of Higher Education aimed at the safe return of citizens to the state of Khartoum.
The President of the University, Prof. Al-Tayeb Yousef Saleh, confirmed that the university is living in a historic moment with the resumption of studies at its headquarters, pointing out that it has not stopped performing its educational mission despite the challenges it faced during the past years.

Prof. Al-Tayeb explained that the university is continuing to prepare qualified human cadres academically, professionally and ethically, and capable of contributing to the local and global labor market, stressing that Ibn Sina University is one of the leading academic institutions in Sudan.

The Secretary of Scientific Affairs, Prof. Al-Nazir Mohamed Al-Nour, expressed his pride in the start of the new academic year, praying for the martyrs of the battle of dignity and their sacrifices for stability, calling for security and peace to prevail throughout the country.
