Orbits: Inching towards the Ultimate Victory

Everyone agrees that every state has the right to defend itself, its interests, its people, and its territory against any aggression or rebellion. This is a “right,” not a gift, privilege, or reward. This principle is a fundamental principle of international law, upon which many principles have been derived, including the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of states and the principle of respect for state sovereignty.
Thus, anyone who does not respect state sovereignty and violates the law is considered a “rebel,” outside the law and legitimacy. Therefore, they must be deterred to preserve the unity, security, and stability of the state and prevent chaos. Therefore, international law has regulated measures for international armed conflicts, making them different from measures for non-international armed conflicts.
The international community always strives to maintain international peace and security to protect human lives and limit the spread of chaos. However, in the case of Sudan, the international community and its global and regional organizations have been cold in their approach to the issue, as if what is happening in Sudan will not affect its surroundings and neighborhoods.
Those who expect that chaos will not spread to the region around us as a result of the war in Sudan are mistaken. “He who holds the stick of fire must inevitably get burned,” as the proverb goes. This is what is expected to happen in a region with a fragile security and political weakness that is unable to withstand the repercussions of the post-war situation in Sudan.
Peace in Sudan will only be achieved by defeating and completely eliminating the terrorist militias, along with those who support them, and bringing the perpetrators of war crimes to justice. The world around us is aware of the cruelty of war and the death and destruction it leaves behind, and is aware of the suffering of the entire Sudanese people. Both international and national media outlets have not failed to report on the humanitarian violations, war crimes, crimes against humanity, breaches of international law, and disrespect for Security Council resolutions regarding lifting the siege on El Fasher. Yet, they have remained silent about the siege that has lasted for sixteen months—and the siege continues to this day.
The United States, the United Nations, and its organizations have many measures and actions that could be taken against the terrorist militia and the evil statelet (the arm of Zionism) in Africa. However, they are stalling, hiding behind the “Quartet,” and contenting themselves with denunciations and condemnations in dull and cold statements. They are fully aware that to stop the war, the militia must be treated as an extremist, racist terrorist organization, and there must be explicit international condemnation of its actions, along with legal accountability for its leaders and those who finance and support them with money, mercenaries, and weapons, so that the war against the Sudanese people continues.
Amidst all this international inaction toward Sudan and disregard for the suffering of our people in El Fasher, and after nearly six months of supply disruptions, the armed forces broke the siege on El Fasher, successfully airdropping food aid and military equipment. This was a purely Sudanese airdrop, a military and intelligence achievement and a major victory. The Sixth Infantry Division and the Joint Force in El Fasher rejoiced, and the citizens of the besieged city were rejoicing over this noble victory, demonstrating to the entire world that the Sudanese Armed Forces are capable of breaking the siege at any moment, without the need for anyone, whether internal or external. This victory was met with astonishment, terror, and frustration by the rebel militia.
The Sixth Infantry Division, the Joint Force, and the supporting forces in Darfur shattered the militia’s hard power there and depleted its energy.
The execution of the airdrop operation by the armed forces over El Fasher signifies that the armed forces have surpassed the jamming technology imposed by the militia, marking a significant development in the course of the war on the ground and a breakthrough in the isolation imposed by the criminal militia on El Fasher.
This bold and precise operation by the armed forces demonstrates that the ultimate victory is inching
