Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Credentials of UN Resident Coordinator in Sudan

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation،
Ambassador Mohieddin Salem, , received the credentials of Ms. Denise Brown, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Sudan, this morning.
The Minister expressed the Sudanese government’s appreciation for the efforts of the United Nations in Sudan, particularly in providing humanitarian assistance to those in need and alleviating the suffering caused by the war imposed on the Sudanese people.
The Minister affirmed the readiness of all Sudanese state institutions to cooperate and coordinate with the United Nations Office in Sudan.
For her part, Ms. Denise expressed her great pleasure in working in Sudan and that she will work side by side with the Sudanese government to provide assistance and mobilize the necessary support to meet the needs of those in need.
