Minnawi sends a message to the Sudanese on Bara Liberation

Darfur Governor Minni Arko Minnawi praised yesterday’s victory in the city of Bara in North Kordofan State, considering it a victory for all of Sudan and evidence of the steadfastness of the city’s people and their determination to protect their land and honor.
Minnawi said in a post on his official Facebook page:
“A thousand salutes to the heroes of the armed forces, the joint force, and the popular resistance who defeated the enemy.”
A special tribute to the people of Bara
The Governor of Darfur paid tribute to the people of Bara, whom he described as having stood “like a mountain in the face of aggression,” emphasizing that their steadfastness contributed significantly to this victory.
A victory that strengthens Sudan’s unity
Minnawi considered what happened in Bara to be an important step toward restoring stability and unity in Sudan, noting that the victory was the result of the army’s solidarity with the popular resistance and the support of the citizens.
