Khartoum Health rehabilitates Haj Al-Safi Hospital in Khartoum North

The Ministry of Health in Khartoum State has completed all necessary procedures to restore Haj Al-Safi Hospital in Bahri Locality to full capacity.
Khartoum Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza, witnessed the hospital’s re-operation and its official opening to patients after most medical services across various specialties and departments were restored.
The governor, in the presence of Dr. Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State; Professor Al-Tayeb Saad Al-Din, Director General of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism in Khartoum State; Abdel-Rahman Ahmed Abdel-Rahman, Executive Director of Bahri Locality; Directors of the General Departments at the Ministry of Health; and leaders of the security and police forces in Bahri Locality, conducted an inspection tour of all operating departments at Haj Al-Safi Hospital. He received a comprehensive briefing from the hospital’s Director General, Dr. Idris Abdullah Saleh, during the tour regarding the actual and accommodating capacity of each department, the most important achievements of the hospital during the rehabilitation period, and the most prominent challenges.
It is worth noting that the hospital has continued to provide medical and therapeutic services throughout the past months since the Bahri locality was cleared of the rebel militia’s filth.
This has been achieved through the hospital’s emergency department and specialized clinics, coordinated and collaborated with specialists from Sudanese universities. The administration’s efforts have also succeeded in drilling a water well to supply the hospital and surrounding neighborhoods with water.
