(A sheep is not affected by being slaughtered after it has been skinned)

By / Khalaf Allah Alobaid Hussien

These are the words that Asma Bint Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with them both, endured and accepted when she was told that they were mutilating her son after killing him. Her only response was, “A sheep is not affected by being skinned after it has been slaughtered.” This was during that battle, which they witnessed and which you, dear readers, are well-known for.
A person may encounter situations in various aspects of life that remind them of the words of this noble Companion. This can occur in many moral situations, such as those represented by disappointment. Your experience of a major disappointment comes in return for all the sincerity and dedication you have shown, your observance of God and then your conscience, and the result was disappointment and lack of appreciation. It is not lost in the sight of God. Furthermore, it makes even minor disappointments seem easier for you, as the days pass by, and you, unaware of them, benefiting from the lessons and morals they leave behind.

My respect and appreciation.
May God protect Sudan.
