Narcissistic Acts: is AI really Failing?!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the capability of machines or computer systems to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include learning, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and language understanding. AI enables systems to analyse data, recognize patterns, make decisions, and adapt to new information and functions that are foundational to human cognition.

Technology is in continuous improvement. Everyday man is developing new machines that are taking places of humans on everyday tasks, not only that, but recently new robots and AI solutions were developed to take humans job, and many companies have started letting go of human talent and started to adapt Artificial Intelligence (AI) “talent” for various reasons including: Efficiency and Productivity, Enhancing Decision-Making, Improving Customer Experience, Driving Innovation and New Revenue Streams, Staying Competitive in the Market, Cost Reduction, Enhancing Employee Satisfaction, Facilitating Scalability. But the question is: can AI really replace humans?

Many debates and seminars have been held to discuss this important matter, as many people have lost their jobs just to be replaced by a Robot!
Few days ago, a Swedish company has opened a massive rehiring campaign to human talent, as the company was facing troubles managing all the requested tasks with AI only. The rehiring campaign has come after the company has let go of employees 2 years before and replaced them with AI solutions, thinking that AI will complete the job more efficiently than humans. In a recent interview the CEO of that Swedish company admitted that “the quality of work done by AI agents was lower than expected”. He acknowledged that “relying too much on cost-cutting and automation had hurt the company’s customer experience”.

This is one serious example that has come direct about not finding AI as expected. Of course, it costed the company great losses over the 2 years, but it is good facing the problem and solving it as soon, and I hope rehiring humans goes for all companies using AI instead, otherwise great losses will hit.
