Minister of Energy and Oil Promises to provide Gedaref Citizens with Power Water Resources with Solar Energy

Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohi El-Din Naeem Mohamed Saeed, promised the citizens of Gedaref State that water resources would be powered by solar energy so that the people of the state can enjoy a stable water supply.
This came during a meeting in his office today with the Governor of Gedaref State, Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan.
The meeting discussed supplying the Al-Showak Water Station with solar energy and the (38) Water Station with solar energy for pumping again.
The meeting also addressed the importance of renewable energy projects, especially in such circumstances.
The Governor of Gedaref, Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Energy and Oil in supporting community services, particularly its prior commitment to radical solutions to resolve the Gedaref water problem, in addition to supplying villages not covered by the national electricity grid with renewable energy, most notably solar energy.
