Federal Minister of Health Discusses Support for Health Services with the Governor of the Northern State

The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, praised the efforts of the Northern State in providing health services to expatriates from Khartoum, Al-Jazeera, and the states of Darfur during the past period, stressing the continuation of federal health support to the states in various fields.

This came during his meeting with the Governor of the Northern State, Lieutenant General Abdul Rahman Abdul Hamid, in the presence of the Minister of Health in the state, Dr. Satti Hassan Satti, the Minister of Finance in the state, the Minister of Social Development, and a number of leaders of the Federal Ministry of Health, this afternoon at the quarantine hall in Port Sudan.

The minister pointed to the active role played by the popular effort and the local community in supporting health services in the state, revealing the imminent opening of the Tadamon Emergency Hospital, and praising the remarkable development witnessed by the health sector in the north.

The Governor of the Northern State, Major General Abdul Rahman Abdul Hamid, praised the efforts of the Federal Ministry of Health during the battle of dignity, saluting the medical cadres in the state, who had a prominent role in stabilizing the health situation.
