National Umma Party sacks Fadlallah Burma from the presidency and assigns Muhammad Abdalla Al-Doma

National Umma Party announced the withdrawal of the assignment from the party’s head, Fadlallah Burma Nasser.
A statement by the National Umma Party’s presidency, said that the presidency withdrew the assignment from Major General (Rtd.)Fadlallah Burma Nasser as head the party, and assigned ‘ Abdullah Al-Doma as president with the powers of the elected president, to exercise those powers through the presidency.
The statement continued that the presidency had named Al-Doma as acting president last year, and indicated that the party’s presidency relied on the constitutional and organizational grounds for its decision, as well as on a list of violations by Burma, the latest of which was his participation in the Nairobi conference and signing the Sudan Founding Charter, which contradicts the party’s principles, most notably the text on secularism and self-determination.
The statement stressed that the National Umma Party is an institutional party and its participation in any platform or alliance is only done through an institutional mandate, and any participation without such mandate is rejected and the participants will be held accountable.
