The National Nutrition Program concluded, today, in Kassala State , the annual planning evaluation meeting for the year 2024, which carried the slogan (Together we can fight malnutrition in Sudan).
Which lasted for 6 days in the presence of nutrition departments from 11 states and Esveria for 7 states and the presence of nutrition partners from the United Nations organizations UNICEF, the World Health Organization and the World Food Program.

The director of the program, Dr. Noha Abdel Fattah Salehin, confirmed in a press statement after the conclusion, the agreement to expand the provision of nutrition services in health centers and shelters according to the needs of each state during emergencies, with integrated services that include preventive and curative aspects, noting that the second day witnessed the start of Planning for the year 2025 after calculating the required targets.

Salehin said that the third day was devoted to information and agreed on the mechanisms of its collection and how to coordinate to ensure correct statistics and coverage of high quality, as well as a unified supervision mechanism, pointing to the printing of unified supervision forms next year, while the fourth day was devoted to feeding supply.

She indicated that the end of the meeting witnessed a discussion of the detailed plans for the states for the year 2025 according to federal guidelines.
