Sudanese Foreign Minister begins official meetings in Cairo

Foreign Minister, Ali Youssef began his first meeting in Cairo with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
The minister indicated during press statements after the meeting that he discussed with Aboul Gheit the most prominent challenges and issues facing Sudan in the battle of dignity, which is nearing its end with a crushing victory for the Sudanese people and their valiant armed forces.
The minister expressed his thanks to the Arab League and its appreciated efforts in confronting all problems and challenges related to Arab affairs, promising more meetings aimed at discussing a number of important Sudanese files with Egyptian officials, noting that there are major files related to pressuring the countries sponsoring the militia that will be discussed extensively at the upcoming Arab summit.
On the American issue, the Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated the 47th US President-elect, Donald Trump, on the occasion of his victory in the US presidential elections, and his sweeping of the Senate and House of Representatives and all states, wishing him and the Republican Party success and fulfillment, and achieving fruitful cooperation between Sudan and the United States of America, which he called on to take all available tools and measures to deter the rebellious Rapid Support Militia and its supporters, and to prosecute it for its horrific crimes against unarmed civilians in Sudan before international justice platforms.
