Malik Agar Ayre, reviewed the results of Sudan’s participation in the United Cultures Forum in Russia and the meetings that took place to enhance cooperation and joint coordination to exchange ideas and opinions
His Excellency praised, during his meeting in his office in Port Sudan today, the Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Graham Abdel Qader, the efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Culture and Information in the fields of culture, media and antiquities, stressing the need to continue efforts to achieve the desired goals.
The meeting addressed enlightenment on the outcomes of the meeting of state governors and regional governors in Gedaref State regarding radio and television bodies
The meeting discussed the work report of the committee formed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Culture and the membership of the Public Prosecution, the Police with its various departments, Federal Investigations, the Customs Administration, Interpol and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting Reviewed what happened regarding the seizure of two Land Cruiser pickup trucks in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State in South Sudan and the procedures that must be followed and the final solutions and communication with UNESCO through the Sudanese mission in France.
For his part, Dr. Graham Abdel Qader said in a press statement following the meeting that he informed the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council of all the programs implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Information during its participation in the Russian Forum and the meetings that took place, especially the meeting with the Russian Minister of Culture to sign the Memorandum of Understanding in various cultural fields, in addition to the meeting with the Minister of Culture of the Republic of South Africa and Djibouti and the meeting with the official spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry and the meeting of professors of private universities in the field of antiquities.
His Excellency drew attention to the participation and attendance at the symposium held on antiquities in Sudan, which addressed what the Sudanese National Museum has been exposed to recently about Sudan.
His Excellency explained the ongoing arrangements for the World Tourism Day, which is on September 27, and the training forum for workers in the radio and television sector in the Red Sea State.
