Several media outlets publised the statements of Ms. Rabah Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi – the daughter of Late Umma Party leader and former Prime Minister – in which she revealed the UAE’s involvement in the Sudanese ongoing war.
She called on the political forces to criminalize the UAE interference in the Sudanese affairs.
The above – despite it is late, but better late than never – is a very important testimony from one of the leading figures in National Umma Party, besides her popularity as one of late renowned politician Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi.
It’s importance comes to refute the statements which her party published in the first days of the when the centre of the part was raided by the RSF militia claiming that individuals wearing the RSF uniform entered in the centre and destroyed it’s properties (avoiding to condemn the RSF militia).
Ms Al-Mahdi slammed the stances of National Umma Party General Secretariat’s statements which did not point to Rapid Support Militia assaultation, while it did not delay in condemning the Sudanese Armed Forces arrested
a member of the Umma Party Political Bureau.
She added that the leaders of the Umma Party participating in the so-called Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces, affirmimg that the upcoming meeting of the Umma Party Political Bureau will work to modify the party’s stance towards the ongoing developments in the political and military scene.
Rabah confirmed that large sectors of the Sudanese people realized that the UAE was an integral part of the war, adding that many Sudanese do not believe that the Rapid Support militia and the UAE are not concerned with democracy, noting that the UAE’s movement with some countries of the region is seeking to encircle Al-Burhan’s government.
Earlier, Dr. Amgad Fareed, who was the Senior Advisor of Prime Minister Abdulla Hamdok, wrote several articles in which he slammed all those who claim that they are in equal distance from the warring parties I. e. The Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support militia -.
We believe that it is high time for all those who claim neutrality to consider their wrong calculations and announce their condemnation to the Rapid Support militia atrocities against the Sudanese people.
