Abdallah Yahya swears in as a member of the TSC

Abdallah Yahya Ahmed has taken the oath taken before the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant-General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, as a member the TSC, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the TSC, , Lieutenant-General Muhammad Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, the representative of Chief Justice.

In a press statement after taking the oath, Abdullah Yahya, saluted the armed forces, the joint forces, the popular resistance, and those who were mobilized for their steadfastness and defense of the sovereignty of Sudan and the safety of its lands in the battle of dignity.
He expressed his thanks to the Head of the TSC for the confidence he gave him, indicating that he will work with his colleagues in the Sovereign Council in order to provide the best service to citizens and take care of their interests.
He said that the priority in the next stage is to establish security and stability and the return of the displaced and refugees to their villages and areas.
