Al-Burhan congratulates the President of Indonesia on National Day

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan today sent a congratulatory cable to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, on the occasion of his country’s National Day, wishing the Indonesian people continued peace, security, development and stability.

Al-Burhan said, “I am pleased to extend, on behalf of the people and government of Sudan, my warmest congratulations to the government and people of Indonesia on the occasion of the National Day.”

The Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council expressed his wishes that this anniversary would return to the Indonesian people while they enjoy progress and prosperity, referring to the distinguished bilateral relations between Sudan and Indonesia.
