Commensment of Joint discussions between Sudan and Ethiopia

The session of joint discussions between Sudan and Ethiopia began today at the Hospitality Palace in Port Sudan, where the Sudanese side was chaired by Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, while the Ethiopian side was chaired by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
Head of the Sovereignty Council welcomed the visit of the Ethiopian Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation, stressing the depth of bilateral relations between Khartoum and Addis Ababa, pointing out the historical and cultural ties between the two brotherly peoples.
For his part, the Ethiopian Prime Minister expressed his happiness at visiting Sudan, indicating that his country takes into account its relationship with Sudan, noting the cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields.
The discussions between the two sides focused on the need to promote and develop joint cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries
