SLM(A. Wahid) imposes fees on humanitarian organizations operating in areas under its control

The Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM – Abdulwahid), stipulated that humanitarian organizations working in areas under its control must pay fees to the SLM Office of Humanitarian Affairs in exchange for allowing them to work.
In a letter issued by the office of the head of the SLM and delivered to the organizations operating in the region, all all organizations must appoint the cadres and employees to be approved and approved by the movement.
The letter threatened to take strict penalties against organizations that violate the new directives, whether by refraining from paying fees or hiring employees or contractors without the approval of the SLM Intelligence Office.ا
The dissemination of these directives comes a few days after a meeting between head of the SLM, Abdulwahid Nur and head of the Coordination – body of the Democratic and Civil Forces the Abdul Wahid movement, Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, after which they signed a political declaration in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, in which the two parties called for removing all obstacles to humanitarian aid, and allowing the access of humanitarian aid through neighboring countries.
