Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber receives Mrs. Lolwah Al-Khater

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, received today in Port Sudan the Qatari Minister of International Cooperation, Ms. Lolwah Al-Khater, who led a delegation from her country to provide the Qatari government’s support to the Sudanese people in the current crisis.

Jaber conveyed greetings and thanks of Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council to the State of Qatar, the government and people, and the Qatari organizations for their continued support and support to the Sudanese people through the humanitarian aid they have been providing to Sudan

Jaber expressed his thanks and appreciation for the increasing efforts made by the Qatari government in supporting and assisting the Sudanese people in order to achieve security, stability and development.

For his part, Ambassador Abdul Raouf Amer, Director of the Department of Peace and Humanitarian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a press statement, following the meeting, that the Qatari Minister arrived in Sudan accompanied by a medical aid plane and 50,000 food baskets.
She is scheduled to visit Port Sudan Hospital, the Kidney Hospital, and the Medical Supplies Fund, besides distributingfood baskets, donated by Qatar Charity Association for the war-affected states, adding that Mrs. Lolwah expressed her hope to achieve security and stability for Sudan and its people.
